The Phil Board of Directors
Kevin Kiley, Chair
Diocese of Fall River
Kevin Kiley is Chancellor and Chief Financial Officer for the Diocese of Fall River which encompasses the South Coast of Massachusetts, Cape and Islands. Reporting to the Bishop of Fall River, he is responsible for the oversight of Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Finance, Audit, Budget, Investment Management, Facilities and Real Estate, Communications and Public Relations, the Safe Environment Enterprise, Information Technology, General Counsel, Archives, and Cemeteries. Kevin worked for the Archdiocese of Boston for 23 years with growing responsibilities in budgeting, accounting, finance and strategic planning. He is a Certified Diocesan Fiscal Manager and recently completed the Master of Science in Church Management Program at Villanova University.
Board experience includes:
Cardinal Cushing Centers, Inc., 2013-2019, two terms as Co-Chair
Diocesan Fiscal Managers Conference, 2014-2019, one term as National President
South Shore Chamber, 2016-2017
Kevin also serves on a number of Boards and Committees affiliated with the Diocese of Fall River in his role as Chancellor and CFO.
Kevin played trumpet growing up and has always had a love for different genres of music especially classical and jazz. He lives with his wife Sue in Marshfield and have four grown children.
Michael Keys, Vice-Chair, Governance Chair
Board Chair from 2009 to 2011, Michael’s background in sales, marketing and new business development in the high-tech sector has assisted the Phil in its board development and long-range planning.
Elizabeth Pineault, Treasurer
Pineault CPA
Elizabeth is President of Pineault CPA, a full service firm offering tax and compliance services to individuals, corporations, and nonprofits. Elizabeth served as the Phil’s board chair from 2011 to 2017.
Mary Toropov, Clerk
LKA Fundraising & Communications
Mary is a Senior Strategist at LKA Fundraising & Communications. Her professional fundraising and development experience is an asset to the Phil board.
Deborah Bowen
A member of the board since 2010.
Heather Cozby
Cozby & Company CPA
Managing partner of Cozby & Company CPA. The firm provides auditing, accounting, tax, and management consulting services to a wide range of clients throughout the South Shore and Cape Cod communities.
John Emler
Retired
As former chairman of IMS/Boston and 25 years with IBM Corporation, John brings a wealth of career experiences. Since his retirement, John’s service contributions include the Corporate Board of Directors for the Village at Duxbury and many committees at South Shore Hospital.
Karen McArdle
With a background in business administration, Karen brings a wealth of experience to the Phil. She is an active member of the South Shore community, donating hours of work to different charities.
Addy Press
CVS Health
Addy serves as Senior Legal Counsel for CVS Health and is a long time supporter of the Phil and the South Shore Conservatory. After graduating from Harvard Law School, Addy worked in New York City until her return to Boston in 2000. In addition to her commitment to music in the community, Press serves on the local board of the Boys and Girls Club of Plymouth.
Geoffrey Stewart
A second generation board member and supporter of the orchestra, Geoffrey has been instrumental in helping to guide the Phil on many issues, including governance and strategic planning. He is the former administrator of Newfield House Nursing Home.
Carol Stone
Carol is a retired retail executive with professional experience in both corporate finance and human resources. She has served on boards in the hospitality industry and for a music and arts education organization. In addition to her service to The Phil, Carol also serves on the audit committee of a New Hampshirite based environmental education center.
